At Hooyoga we offer retreats for individuls or small groups up to 8 people. Here you can relax and rejuvenate and be as lazy or active as you like. We offer a personalized program for you and your friends (min 2 nights) or you can choose to join one of the sceduled retreats. Leave the bustle of every day life behind, breathe in the fresh air, enjoy a tasty healthy meal in the kitchen of the farmhouse, treat yourself to a massage, a gentle yoga class, a sauna, do nothing, take a walk in the nearby forest, and if you like; explore the area with its many interesting cultural sights. We have 2 lovely decorated rooms with comfortable beds in our old farmhouse and the possibility of renting more rooms in charming guesthouses nearby. We also love to host for visiting guest teachers and workshop leaders.
Through her years of practising, Lisan has developed her own style and her yoga has become a slowing down, a process of exploration and undoing, an invitation to connect with the simple joy of our being.

Activities and cultural sightseeing
In the summer you can go for wonderful walks, hiking, horseriding, fishing, canoeing and swimming in one of the nearby lakes. If you want to take it easy then rest in the hammock, read or simply do nothing. In the winter there are great opportunities for ice-skating and skiing. Curl up by the fireplace with a cup of hot choclate afterwards. There are lots of interesting cultural places to visit in the area and some excellent restaurants that you don't want to miss. Lisan and Jan have created a unique ambience. Their place (both house and garden) is absolutely delightful. On arrival, as if stepping into a warm bath, one relaxes and feels at ease immediately. Even more so after a great massage and stress-free yoga session. And the food... ah the food - what a treat; one delicious surprise after another! Never knew healthy could be so gorgeous. We stayed for a week at Jan and Lisan swedish loghouse so lovingly restored by Jan, with sumptous breakfasts prepared by Lisan, sitting in the morning sun outside the house at a wooden table, sipping our early morning tea and coffee after our morning meditation. Later taking off and going down in the river in the canoe, resting on one of the little islands in the lake. Then at night sitting at an open fire in the garden, talking about life and allowing silence to fall in. Later falling asleep in our cosy room only to wake up to a new day of more treassures to be discovered in that tranquil spot prepared with so much love and care and where we were offered such a warm welcome which held us so tenderly.
