The food

Our food is colourful, delicious and healthy. Because we all have different digestive systems there isn't one diet that fits all. But we all benefit from eating as much organically grown, fresh and unprocessed foods as possible and this is what we strive after when we cook for our guests. Sweden has its own treasurers; an abundance of wild berries, mushrooms, fish and wild game. We pick blue berries, cranberries, gooseberries, red currants, raspberries, and we freeze these precious little jewels so that we can use them all year round in our morning porridge. We have apple trees, honey from our own bees and we grow a small variety of vegetables and herbs in the garden.

Lisan is a talented and creative cook, and is known to inspire people in making healthier choices after their visit. Dig into breakfast dishes such as a bowl of oats with homemade granola and mixed berries from the garden, scrambled eggs with fetta cheese and sun-dried tomato, and green pea hummus on gluten-free crackers or Jan's homemade bread. 

For lunch or diner we'll serve mouth-watering salads, tasty soups and vegetarian stews and the occasional piece of fish. Desserts like glutenfree swedish kladdkaka (chocolate pie) or raw chiapudding with ice-cream that everybody loves. Lisan will provide you with some great recipes that you can try at home. If you are allergic to certain ingredients we will do our best to meet your requirements if you let us know in advance.
